I have been thinking about Israel's journey through the wilderness, and how Moses [means: The drawn out ones] sent spies to "spy out" the
Promised Land, to see what it was like before they crossed over Jordan. Take a look at the chapter 13 of Numbers in the Amplified version:
Numbers 13
1AND THE Lord said to Moses,
2Send men to explore and scout out [for yourselves] the land of Canaan, which I give to the Israelites. From each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader or head among them.
3So Moses by the command of the Lord sent scouts from the Wilderness of Paran, all of them men who were heads of the Israelites.
4These were their names: of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua son of Zaccur;
5Of the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat son of Hori;
6Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;
7Of the tribe of Issachar, Igal son of Joseph;
8Of the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea [that is, Joshua] son of Nun;
9Of the tribe of Benjamin, Palti son of Raphu;
10Of the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel son of Sodi;
11Of the tribe of Joseph, that is, of the tribe of Manasseh, Gaddi son of Susi;
12Of the tribe of Dan, Ammiel son of Gemalli;
13Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur son of Michael;
14Of the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi son of Vophsi;
15Of the tribe of Gad, Geuel son of Machi.
16These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to explore and scout out the land. And Moses called Hoshea son of Nun, Joshua.
17Moses sent them to scout out the land of Canaan, and said to them, Get up this way by the South (the Negeb) and go up into the hill country,
18And see what the land is and whether the people who dwell there are strong or weak, few or many,
19And whether the land they live in is good or bad, and whether the cities they dwell in are camps or strongholds,
20And what the land is, whether it is fat or lean, whether there is timber on it or not. And be of good courage and bring some of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the first ripe grapes.
21So they went up and scouted through the land from the Wilderness of Zin to Rehob, to the entrance of Hamath.
22And then went up into the South (the Negeb) and came to Hebron; and Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai [probably three tribes of] the sons of Anak were there. (Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
23And they came to the Valley of Eshcol, and cut down from there a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they carried it on a pole between two [of them]; they brought also some pomegranates and figs.
24That place was called the Valley of Eshcol [cluster] because of the cluster which the Israelites cut down there.
25And they returned from scouting out the land after forty days.
26They came to Moses and Aaron and to all the Israelite congregation in the Wilderness of Paran at Kadesh, and brought them word, and showed them the land's fruit.
27They told Moses, We came to the land to which you sent us; surely it flows with milk and honey. This is its fruit.
28But the people who dwell there are strong, and the cities are [a]fortified and very large; moreover, there we saw the sons of Anak [of great stature and courage].
29Amalek dwells in the land of the South (the Negeb); the Hittite, the Jebusite, and the Amorite dwell in the hill country; and the Canaanite dwells by the sea and along by the side of the Jordan [River].
30Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once and possess it; we are well able to conquer it.
31But his fellow scouts said, We are not able to go up against the people [of Canaan], for they are stronger than we are.
32So they brought the Israelites an evil report of the land which they had scouted out, saying, The land through which we went to spy it out is a land that devours its inhabitants. And all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature.
33There we saw the Nephilim [or giants], the sons of Anak, who come from the giants; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Me: Now here is the same chapter after I replaced all of the proper names with their meanings. This whole chapter is speaking about how God's chosen remnant will deliver the people - but first they had to go through the "beautifying" process in the wilderness of thorns! Notice that when you replace the spies names, and the names of their fathers, you get a wonderful description of God's elect, and what their purpose is for the creation. Read this slowly:

Me: Look what the wilderness causes: BEAUTIFICATION! So much for the religious thinking that says sin has no good purpose! The WILDerNESS of sin BEAUTIFIES US, people! Now look at the names of the spies, their tribes, and their father's names, when you replace the proper nouns with their meanings! You get a description of God's elect, and what their purpose is! Verse 4,
4These were their names: of the tribe of you see; a son, a hearkener son of remembered;
5Of the tribe of hearkening, a judge; son of my cave; my whiteness; my noble; cave-ite;
6Of the tribe of he who will be praised, a dog; whole-hearted son of he who will be turned; prepared;
Me: Do you guys feel like you are being PREPARED FOR SOMETHING WONDERFUL? It is written,
"EYE HAS NOT SEEN, NOR HAS EAR HEARD, NOR HAS IT ENTERED INTO THE HEARTS OF MEN, THE THINGS THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM"! Verse 7,
7Of the tribe of he will be hired; there is reward; he will bring reward, He will redeem the son; let him add [a son]; you add Jehovah;
Me: Here is what God's elect remnant have been prepared for: WE HAVE BEEN HIRED TO REDEEM THE SONS OF CREATION! Verse 8,
8Of the tribe of double ash-heap; I shall be double fruitful, to save [that is, Jehovah is salvation] son of my perpetuity;
Me: Look! In order to be doubly fruitful, A PERSON HAS TO GO THROUGH DOUBLE ASHE HEAP! Guess what causes ashes? FIRE! Verse 9-11,
9Of the tribe of son of the right hand, my escape; son of healed;
10Of the tribe of dwelling, my fortune is God; son of my confidant;
11Of the tribe of Let him add [a son]; you add Jehovah, that is, of the tribe of causing to forget; my invader; my troop; my fortune; son of my horse;
Me: That troop of invaders represents the son of God's right hand - the many membered Christ; who are the white horses who carry God's Word! Look at the next verse: WE ARE THE JUDGES OF THE PEOPLE - IMMANUEL - GOD CAME INTO THE WORLD [CAME-EL]! Verse 12,
12Of the tribe of judging; a judge; my people are of God; son of my camel; camelish [God CAME];
13Of the tribe of happy, HIDDEN SON of he who is as God;
14Of the tribe of my wrestling; my tortuoscity, my HIDING son; wherefore; you vanish;
Me: Remember when Jesus VANISHED from their sight? That is because He went into His clouds of glory: US, THE CLOUDS OF GOD'S PEOPLE - GOD'S HOLY CLOUD OF WITNESSES! Likewise, we, too, have been hidden from the people, as peculiar possessions of God's special priesthood. Once we have been made perfect, then we will be revealed [unveiled to the world], and Christ will make His grand entrance through us! Verse 15,
15Of the tribe of an invader; a troop; a fortune, you exalt God; son of my poverty.
16These are the names of the men whom the drawn out ones sent to explore and scout out the land. And the drawn out ones called to save; son of perpetuity, Jehovah is salvation.
Me: Folks,
God has called out a people to enter into heavenly places, and envision the full redemption that God has promised to give us [heavenly bodies of splendor]! WE ARE WITNESSES OF WHAT GOD PLANS ON ACCOMPLISHING, AND GIVING TO HIS CREATION, AND HE WILL DO THESE THINGS THROUGH US: HIS ELECT REMNANT - THE CHRISTED VESSELS OF GLORY! Next verse,
17The drawn out ones sent them to scout out the land of a trafficker [carnal flesh], and said to them, Get up this way by the South, and go up into the hill country,
Me: Guys, you are the little hills, and the city set on those hills is Christ! Listen ~ You will not be hidden from the world for much longer! Look at the next verse. We are told why we were given a glimpse of the good things to come: God wanted His leaders to see what was going to be needed [for us to cross over Jordan - into the glorified body], and what strengths and weaknesses are in the "LAND" [of our flesh]! This election of a remnant was necessary, in order for the entire world to be made ready for their transition into the life of God! The next verse shows how the Word of God's elect cuts asunder the good from the bad, the fat from lean, the timber from the barren, the strong from the weak, and the few from the many, and divides them with the double edge of the Sword of the Spirit! Looky,
18And see what the land is and whether the people who dwell there are strong or weak, few or many,
19And whether the land they live in is good or bad, and whether the cities [peoples] they dwell in are camps or strongholds,
20And what the land is, whether it is fat or lean, whether there is timber on it or not. And be of good courage and bring some of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the first ripe grapes.
Me: Did you hear that? The time for the dividing asunder of the soul and the Spirit is the time of the firstfruits, the FIRST grapes [the election of God's firstfruits; His chosen, whom He will work through to transform, and deliver His creation]! Verse 21,
21So they went up and scouted through the land from the Wilderness of a thorn to the broad place, the plaza to the entrance of enclosure of wrath.
Me: Look at the reception they get from the "enclosure" of God's people: WRATH! But in the next verse we can see what that fiery wrath accomplishes in them: Communion, and the whiteness of God's righteousness, and the fine linens of the immortal body! Hallelujah! NOTICE THAT FOR CHRIST'S PERFECTION TO BE ACCOMPLISHED, GOD HAD TO DIG SOME FURROWS, AND PLANT SOME SEED [CHRIST] IN THE EARTH OF OUR CARNAL MIND! THE CHAINS OF THE CARNAL CONSCIOUSNESS HAD TO BE REMOVED FROM OUR STUBBORN NECKS! Verses 22 & 23,
22And then went up into the South and came to communion; one who has crossed; and brother of a portion; brother who is my fine linen garments; whitish, and my furrows the sons of neck chain: Long-necked were there (Communion; one who has crossed was built seven years before removal in dual straits.)
23And they came to the valley of a cluster, and cut down from there A BRANCH with one cluster of grapes, and they carried it on a pole between two [of them]; they brought also some pomegranates and figs.
Me: There's that MESSIANIC BRANCH again! Heh heh heh! Verse 24,
24That place was called the Valley of a cluster, because of the cluster which the Princes of God cut down there.
Me: Look at that! We have been studying recently how the branch represents the many membered Christ [the Joseph company], and it is this BRANCH that brings the first-fruits among God's people! Verses 25 & 26,
25And they returned from scouting out the land after forty days.
26They came to the drawn out ones and light-bringer and to all the Princes of God [the congregation], in the Wilderness of their beautifying at apartness; set apart for a purpose, and brought them word, and showed them the land's fruit.
Me: This is good! The drawn out many membered Joseph BRANCH company brings the whole congregation the Word in the wilderness of beautification THROUGH sins! This remnant is SET APART FOR A PURPOSE: TO BRING FORTH THE FIRSTFRUITS OF THE KINGDOM! Verse 27,
27They told the drawn out ones, We came to the land to which you sent us; surely it flows with milk and honey. This is its fruit.
Me: Now look at the evil report that the majority of the spies reported to Moses, and Israel. This next section is a description of the carnal attributes in every man's soul:
28But the people who dwell there are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large; moreover, there we saw the sons of a neck chain: Long-necked [of great stature and courage].
29A people of the lapping, or licking up dwell in the land of the South; the terror, the he will be trodden down, and the a sayer dwell in the hill country; and the a trafficker [carnal flesh] dwells by the peoples [sea] and along by the side of the their decent [river].
Me: Notice in verse 28, that this people was a long necked, fortified bunch [this is a type of the stubbornness of flesh]. Now look at what Caleb says [means: A dog; backwards that says: God],
30A dog [God's elect]; whole-hearted quieted the people before the drawn out ones, and said, Let us go up at once and possess it; we are well able to conquer it.
31But his fellow scouts [spies] said, We are not able to go up against the people of a trafficker [carnal flesh], for they are stronger than we are.
32So they brought the Princes of God an evil report of the land which they had scouted out, saying, The land through which we went to spy it out is a land that devours its inhabitants. And all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature [GIANTS- GODS].
33There we saw the giants; the sons of a neck chain: Long-necked, who come from the giants; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers [FLESH-hoppers], and so we were in their sight.
Me: There is a lot more being said here, and we will look into it later, but one thing the Lord wanted me to see, is the spiritual connotation as to what the "GIANTS" in the land represent in this analogy [spiritually speaking]. Now since the Lord revealed to me [a couple of years ago] that Goliath [the Philistine giant] represented the church's view of Jesus during the age of Pentecost; I began to realize that the meaning of Canaan's Anakim giants is similar here. Giants represent incorrect mindsets that people have because of religious doctrine!
In other words... the thing that has kept Israel from entering into the fullness of God [through Christ being revealed in them] is the fact that they see Jesus as this GIANT, UNATTAINABLE SUPERMAN, WHO IS NOTHING LIKE THEMSELVES, instead of seeing him as being the same stature as themselves, having been purposely sent by God TO SHOW THEM HOW THEY WOULD BE PERFECTED THROUGH SUFFERING! JESUS WAS NOT A GIANT, WHOSE MAKE-UP WAS NOTHING LIKE US AT ALL [AS THE AGE OF PENTECOST TOLD US FOR 2,000 YEARS], BUT INSTEAD; JESUS WAS MADE LIKE UNTO US, HIS BRETHREN, IN EVERY WAY, AND JUST AS HE WAS PERFECTED THROUGH THE SINFUL, THORNY NATURE, SO ALSO SHALL WE BE PERFECTED IN THE VERY SAME MANNER!
Notice what the spies told Moses the Giants were like?
NECK-CHAINS! THIS IS SYMBOLIC OF HOW THE OUTLOOK PENTECOST TAUGHT MEN BOUND, AND CHAINED, AND OPPRESSED THE PEOPLE, BECAUSE INSTEAD OF SEEING JESUS IN THE "AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD" MINDSET, THEY SAW HIM AS ANOTHER SPECIES THAN THEMSELVES - A SON WHO WAS NOTHING LIKE THEM IN ANY WAY!
This whole giant thing has puzzled me for years, and I have never [until now] been able to establish the allegorical meaning of what God was trying to say with this analogy... but now it is clear: THE THING THAT HAS KEPT THE PEOPLE OF THIS WORLD OUT OF THE PROMISED INHERITANCE IS NOT SOME OUTER GIANTS IN SOME OUTER PROMISED LAND! Nope... it is the mindset that sees Christ as NOTHING LIKE US AT ALL. IT IS THE MIND THAT SAYS JESUS IS OUTSIDE OF US: SEPARATE; EXCLUDED, APART FROM US, SEVERED, AND SINLESS! IT IS THE TEACHING THAT SAYS JESUS WAS A SPIRITUAL GIANT FROM BIRTH, AND EXALTS HIM INTO A STRATOSPHERE THAT NONE OF US CAN POSSIBLY ATTAIN TO!
Because the religious church taught these WRONG principles [that Jesus was a GIANT, SINLESS, MEGA GOD - NOTHING LIKE OURSELVES], instead of teaching the people that he was a weak, and frail human being; made like unto us in every way [our prototype example], the people could not enter into the promised rest that ONLY comes by enduring the very same perfection process that Jesus received [John's baptism]! BECAUSE OF WHAT THE AGE OF PENTECOST HAS COUNTED ON AS BEING "SOUND DOCTRINE"; THE WORLD COULD NOT CROSS OVER INTO THE PROMISED LAND OF THE AGAPE LOVE CONSCIOUSNESS [THE LAND FLOWING WITH MILK AND HONEY]!
What did Jesus say?
"I HAVE A BAPTISM TO BE BAPTIZED WITH, AND OH HOW I WISH IT WAS ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED!"
I have a question...
Why is a perfect person with NO FAULTS from birth, having to receive a baptism that brings repentance, and a change of mind for the better, which brings godly sorrow and regret for one's past sins?
Don't believe that is what John's baptism brings?
LOOK AT MARK 1:4!
4John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness (desert), preaching a baptism [obligating] repentance (a change of one's mind for the better, heartily amending one's ways, with abhorrence of his past sins) in order to obtain forgiveness of and release from sins.
Me: JESUS WAS CLOTHED IN SINFUL FLESH, JUST LIKE WE ARE CLOTHED IN SINFUL FLESH!
JESUS DROPPED THE "GRAVE CLOTHES", AND SO SHALL WE!
JESUS PUT OFF THE OLD MAN, AND WE SHALL PUT OFF THE OLD MAN!
JESUS PUT ON THE NEW MAN, AND WE, TOO, SHALL PUT ON THE NEW MAN!
EVERY WAY, FOLKS... NOT SOME WAYS... EVERY WAY!
It's time to throw out the JOLLY GREEN JESU-GIANT OF UNATTAINABLE PENTECOSTAL IDOLATRY, and replace that Jesus with the meek, and frail human being that God made him to be in the beginning! Besides; it isn't what Jesus was at the beginning that mattered to God, anyhow... IT WAS WHAT HE BECAME AFTER GOD WAS THROUGH CHASTENING AND PURIFYING HIM THAT MATTERED!
As our Lord so adequately put it:
21He who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I Myself overcame (was victorious) and sat down beside My Father on His throne.
Why was someone who never had sin [as Pentecost taught] needing to OVERCOME something? The only person who needs to overcome something, is a person who has some kind of situation that needs overcoming!

God has called out a people to enter into heavenly places, and envision the full redemption that God has promised to give us [heavenly bodies of splendor]! WE ARE WITNESSES OF WHAT GOD PLANS ON ACCOMPLISHING, AND GIVING TO HIS CREATION, AND HE WILL DO THESE THINGS THROUGH US: HIS ELECT REMNANT - THE CHRISTED VESSELS OF GLORY! Next verse,
17The drawn out ones sent them to scout out the land of a trafficker [carnal flesh], and said to them, Get up this way by the South, and go up into the hill country,
Me: Guys, you are the little hills, and the city set on those hills is Christ! Listen ~ You will not be hidden from the world for much longer! Look at the next verse. We are told why we were given a glimpse of the good things to come: God wanted His leaders to see what was going to be needed [for us to cross over Jordan - into the glorified body], and what strengths and weaknesses are in the "LAND" [of our flesh]! This election of a remnant was necessary, in order for the entire world to be made ready for their transition into the life of God! The next verse shows how the Word of God's elect cuts asunder the good from the bad, the fat from lean, the timber from the barren, the strong from the weak, and the few from the many, and divides them with the double edge of the Sword of the Spirit! Looky,
18And see what the land is and whether the people who dwell there are strong or weak, few or many,
19And whether the land they live in is good or bad, and whether the cities [peoples] they dwell in are camps or strongholds,
20And what the land is, whether it is fat or lean, whether there is timber on it or not. And be of good courage and bring some of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the first ripe grapes.
Me: Did you hear that? The time for the dividing asunder of the soul and the Spirit is the time of the firstfruits, the FIRST grapes [the election of God's firstfruits; His chosen, whom He will work through to transform, and deliver His creation]! Verse 21,
21So they went up and scouted through the land from the Wilderness of a thorn to the broad place, the plaza to the entrance of enclosure of wrath.
Me: Look at the reception they get from the "enclosure" of God's people: WRATH! But in the next verse we can see what that fiery wrath accomplishes in them: Communion, and the whiteness of God's righteousness, and the fine linens of the immortal body! Hallelujah! NOTICE THAT FOR CHRIST'S PERFECTION TO BE ACCOMPLISHED, GOD HAD TO DIG SOME FURROWS, AND PLANT SOME SEED [CHRIST] IN THE EARTH OF OUR CARNAL MIND! THE CHAINS OF THE CARNAL CONSCIOUSNESS HAD TO BE REMOVED FROM OUR STUBBORN NECKS! Verses 22 & 23,
22And then went up into the South and came to communion; one who has crossed; and brother of a portion; brother who is my fine linen garments; whitish, and my furrows the sons of neck chain: Long-necked were there (Communion; one who has crossed was built seven years before removal in dual straits.)
23And they came to the valley of a cluster, and cut down from there A BRANCH with one cluster of grapes, and they carried it on a pole between two [of them]; they brought also some pomegranates and figs.
Me: There's that MESSIANIC BRANCH again! Heh heh heh! Verse 24,
24That place was called the Valley of a cluster, because of the cluster which the Princes of God cut down there.
Me: Look at that! We have been studying recently how the branch represents the many membered Christ [the Joseph company], and it is this BRANCH that brings the first-fruits among God's people! Verses 25 & 26,
25And they returned from scouting out the land after forty days.
26They came to the drawn out ones and light-bringer and to all the Princes of God [the congregation], in the Wilderness of their beautifying at apartness; set apart for a purpose, and brought them word, and showed them the land's fruit.
Me: This is good! The drawn out many membered Joseph BRANCH company brings the whole congregation the Word in the wilderness of beautification THROUGH sins! This remnant is SET APART FOR A PURPOSE: TO BRING FORTH THE FIRSTFRUITS OF THE KINGDOM! Verse 27,
27They told the drawn out ones, We came to the land to which you sent us; surely it flows with milk and honey. This is its fruit.
Me: Now look at the evil report that the majority of the spies reported to Moses, and Israel. This next section is a description of the carnal attributes in every man's soul:
28But the people who dwell there are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large; moreover, there we saw the sons of a neck chain: Long-necked [of great stature and courage].
29A people of the lapping, or licking up dwell in the land of the South; the terror, the he will be trodden down, and the a sayer dwell in the hill country; and the a trafficker [carnal flesh] dwells by the peoples [sea] and along by the side of the their decent [river].
Me: Notice in verse 28, that this people was a long necked, fortified bunch [this is a type of the stubbornness of flesh]. Now look at what Caleb says [means: A dog; backwards that says: God],
30A dog [God's elect]; whole-hearted quieted the people before the drawn out ones, and said, Let us go up at once and possess it; we are well able to conquer it.
31But his fellow scouts [spies] said, We are not able to go up against the people of a trafficker [carnal flesh], for they are stronger than we are.
32So they brought the Princes of God an evil report of the land which they had scouted out, saying, The land through which we went to spy it out is a land that devours its inhabitants. And all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature [GIANTS- GODS].
33There we saw the giants; the sons of a neck chain: Long-necked, who come from the giants; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers [FLESH-hoppers], and so we were in their sight.
Me: There is a lot more being said here, and we will look into it later, but one thing the Lord wanted me to see, is the spiritual connotation as to what the "GIANTS" in the land represent in this analogy [spiritually speaking]. Now since the Lord revealed to me [a couple of years ago] that Goliath [the Philistine giant] represented the church's view of Jesus during the age of Pentecost; I began to realize that the meaning of Canaan's Anakim giants is similar here. Giants represent incorrect mindsets that people have because of religious doctrine!
In other words... the thing that has kept Israel from entering into the fullness of God [through Christ being revealed in them] is the fact that they see Jesus as this GIANT, UNATTAINABLE SUPERMAN, WHO IS NOTHING LIKE THEMSELVES, instead of seeing him as being the same stature as themselves, having been purposely sent by God TO SHOW THEM HOW THEY WOULD BE PERFECTED THROUGH SUFFERING! JESUS WAS NOT A GIANT, WHOSE MAKE-UP WAS NOTHING LIKE US AT ALL [AS THE AGE OF PENTECOST TOLD US FOR 2,000 YEARS], BUT INSTEAD; JESUS WAS MADE LIKE UNTO US, HIS BRETHREN, IN EVERY WAY, AND JUST AS HE WAS PERFECTED THROUGH THE SINFUL, THORNY NATURE, SO ALSO SHALL WE BE PERFECTED IN THE VERY SAME MANNER!
Notice what the spies told Moses the Giants were like?
NECK-CHAINS! THIS IS SYMBOLIC OF HOW THE OUTLOOK PENTECOST TAUGHT MEN BOUND, AND CHAINED, AND OPPRESSED THE PEOPLE, BECAUSE INSTEAD OF SEEING JESUS IN THE "AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD" MINDSET, THEY SAW HIM AS ANOTHER SPECIES THAN THEMSELVES - A SON WHO WAS NOTHING LIKE THEM IN ANY WAY!
This whole giant thing has puzzled me for years, and I have never [until now] been able to establish the allegorical meaning of what God was trying to say with this analogy... but now it is clear: THE THING THAT HAS KEPT THE PEOPLE OF THIS WORLD OUT OF THE PROMISED INHERITANCE IS NOT SOME OUTER GIANTS IN SOME OUTER PROMISED LAND! Nope... it is the mindset that sees Christ as NOTHING LIKE US AT ALL. IT IS THE MIND THAT SAYS JESUS IS OUTSIDE OF US: SEPARATE; EXCLUDED, APART FROM US, SEVERED, AND SINLESS! IT IS THE TEACHING THAT SAYS JESUS WAS A SPIRITUAL GIANT FROM BIRTH, AND EXALTS HIM INTO A STRATOSPHERE THAT NONE OF US CAN POSSIBLY ATTAIN TO!
Because the religious church taught these WRONG principles [that Jesus was a GIANT, SINLESS, MEGA GOD - NOTHING LIKE OURSELVES], instead of teaching the people that he was a weak, and frail human being; made like unto us in every way [our prototype example], the people could not enter into the promised rest that ONLY comes by enduring the very same perfection process that Jesus received [John's baptism]! BECAUSE OF WHAT THE AGE OF PENTECOST HAS COUNTED ON AS BEING "SOUND DOCTRINE"; THE WORLD COULD NOT CROSS OVER INTO THE PROMISED LAND OF THE AGAPE LOVE CONSCIOUSNESS [THE LAND FLOWING WITH MILK AND HONEY]!
What did Jesus say?
"I HAVE A BAPTISM TO BE BAPTIZED WITH, AND OH HOW I WISH IT WAS ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED!"
I have a question...
Why is a perfect person with NO FAULTS from birth, having to receive a baptism that brings repentance, and a change of mind for the better, which brings godly sorrow and regret for one's past sins?
Don't believe that is what John's baptism brings?
LOOK AT MARK 1:4!
4John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness (desert), preaching a baptism [obligating] repentance (a change of one's mind for the better, heartily amending one's ways, with abhorrence of his past sins) in order to obtain forgiveness of and release from sins.
Me: JESUS WAS CLOTHED IN SINFUL FLESH, JUST LIKE WE ARE CLOTHED IN SINFUL FLESH!
JESUS DROPPED THE "GRAVE CLOTHES", AND SO SHALL WE!
JESUS PUT OFF THE OLD MAN, AND WE SHALL PUT OFF THE OLD MAN!
JESUS PUT ON THE NEW MAN, AND WE, TOO, SHALL PUT ON THE NEW MAN!
EVERY WAY, FOLKS... NOT SOME WAYS... EVERY WAY!
It's time to throw out the JOLLY GREEN JESU-GIANT OF UNATTAINABLE PENTECOSTAL IDOLATRY, and replace that Jesus with the meek, and frail human being that God made him to be in the beginning! Besides; it isn't what Jesus was at the beginning that mattered to God, anyhow... IT WAS WHAT HE BECAME AFTER GOD WAS THROUGH CHASTENING AND PURIFYING HIM THAT MATTERED!
As our Lord so adequately put it:
21He who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I Myself overcame (was victorious) and sat down beside My Father on His throne.
Why was someone who never had sin [as Pentecost taught] needing to OVERCOME something? The only person who needs to overcome something, is a person who has some kind of situation that needs overcoming!
